The WorthingtonCast Column is made from highly advanced fiberglass reinforced polymers, which make the column durable and requiring little maintenance. All Tuscan design capitals in our WorthingtonCast columns in the 8, 10 and 12 inches diameter come standard with our new synthetic capitals and bases. These bases are very strong and unmatched by anyone in the industry. They offer the highest resistance to denting or cracking, and are excellent for high traffic areas. For shaft diameters 14 thru 24 inches, Worthington offers our standard polyurethane in the Tuscan design and for diameters 26 thru 36 inches we offer a fiberglass shell. In our decorative capitals, Worthington uses the same materials used to construct our shafts. This FRP material allows Worthington to get an unbelievable detail that proves to be a far superior product than the traditional decorative polyurethane capital.
